I currently use soy protein made by herbalife and i was wondering what whey protein is and how it is different to soy and its advantages/disadvntages are?

Rep Power: 23 | | | Whey is derived from casein (milk/dairy). Whey has a better biological value, I think it's in the 150's or 160's, at least for isolates, which means that your body can use what it is being fed as best as possible. |

others are not.
the label should clearly state if its lactose free or not. A lot of them are now safe, but 4 years ago, you had to pay top dollar for Isopure to get somethign that wasn't full of lactose. |

Rep Power: 7 | | | I love the whey protein - doesn't bother my stomach when I workout right after it, seems even more delicious after the workout. Guess I'm lucky I like the taste. Scared to change brands, either because of worse flavor, or, yikes, EFFECTS!
